From being in this class, I find myself constantly looking at other people's eye behaviors. I have noticed with other people and also myself, that if someone feels awkward while they are talking, they will have less eye contact. They will mostly look right past the person that they are talking to. If someone is intrigued in the conversation, they will have more eye contact with the person they are talking to. They will rarely break the eye contact. If someone is completely not interested, they will use gaze avoidance and probably start walking away. Eye contact is a good way to see if someone is interested in you, whether it just being a friend or something more. If they seem interested, they will maintain eye contact, but if they don't seem interested, they might break the eye contact.
